The Iowa Chapter of CPCU
prides itself on meeting the career development needs of a diverse
membership of insurance professionals who have earned the CPCU designation.
Our membership includes over 600
professionals committed to high ethical standards in the insurance industry.
Our size makes us the 4th
largest chapter in the nation.
Many of our members have qualified for
CPD (Continuing Professional Development) recognition, and fifteen of our
current or past members have been inducted into the Iowa Insurance Hall of
Fame.
One of our past presidents, Robb Kelley,
served as President of the National CPCU Society in 1971.
We continually strive to
provide quality programs and opportunities for our members as we hold
monthly meetings; conduct an All Industry Day (I-Day) and Conferment
luncheon; and host a New Designee Reception.
In addition, we sponsor Technical
Workshops and Leadership Courses as well as an Ethics Seminar and Charity
Golf Outing.
We have an outstanding
membership willing to exemplify high ethical conduct and professional
behavior.
We work diligently to enhance the
visibility and reputation of our industry and have achieved the Gold level
on the National Society’s Circle of Excellence for 8 consecutive years.
