For the third year, proceeds from the annual golf outing will be donated to Farm Safety 4 Just Kids, in conjunction with the efforts of our CPCU Good Works committee. Farm Safety 4 Just Kids is a very special program that seeks to prevent farm related childhood injuries and fatalities, by providing education about the importance of farm safety. The golf outing will be a Best Ball tournament, and is open to CPCU’s, those testing for CPCU as well as other insurance folks. Shotgun start will be at 1:00. Here’s an opportunity to show your support for a good cause and have a great time. Whether you’re an accomplished golf pro or have never hit a golf ball before, we’re looking for everyone to get involved. Companies can sponsor a hole or a special event, such as closest to the pin. We’d also appreciate donations of any company golf prizes that can be used for door prizes. To register for golf, and/or to sponsor a hole, contact Jeff Jeffus at 471-3879, or e-mail him at Ajeffus@onebeacon.com. The $55 fee includes 18 holes, a cart, an invitation to the Social hour to follow golf at 5:00, and a donation to Farm Safety 4 Just Kids.
